Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you create an account or are added to an organization, including your name, email address, mobile phone number, and employer/organization details. We also collect usage data generated while you use the Service, such as clock-in/out activity, schedules, and timesheets.

Depending on how your organization uses the Service, this also includes:

• Profile details you or your employer enter: address, date of birth, gender and a profile photo.
• Employment details your employer enters, such as your role, the programs you work in and your pay rate, and the payroll records produced from your timesheets.
• Your location at the moment you clock in and clock out (see “Location Information” below).
• Messages, announcements, files, photos and voice recordings you send through the Service’s chat and messaging features.
• A notification identifier for each device on which you turn on push notifications, so that we can deliver them.

Location Information

The Service asks for your device’s precise location only at the moment you clock in or clock out, to confirm that the shift started and ended at your place of work. That location is saved with the clock-in or clock-out record and is visible to the authorized managers and administrators of your organization. We do not track your location in the background or at any other time, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

You can refuse or withdraw location permission in your device or browser settings at any time. Your organization requires a location to record a clock-in, so without it you will not be able to clock in or out through the Service.

How We Use Your Information

• To create, secure, and manage your account.
• To send account-related text messages, such as phone number verification and account activation links.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To communicate with you about your account and provide support.

SMS / Text Messaging

When you provide your mobile phone number and opt in during account signup, uraTracker sends account-related text messages (for example, a one-time message to confirm your phone number and activate your account). Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for assistance.

How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, our SMS delivery provider and cloud hosting providers), and only to the extent necessary to provide the Service. We may also disclose information where required by law. As stated above, we never share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Your Choices

You may update your account information at any time and opt out of text messages by replying STOP. To delete your account, open My Profile → Delete account in the app, or contact us using the details below. You can also ask us to remove particular data, such as a profile photo or a document, without closing your account. The steps, and what is deleted and kept, are set out on our account deletion page.

Children

The Service is a workplace tool for adult employees. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
